Good morning,
For the people booked onto a pony day today Fri 18/02/22 we have unfortunately decided the safest option is to postpone the day until the Easter holidays. Whilst the winds aren't too bad currently they are due to get worse so Kim feels the safest option is to postpone it. Anybody who has prepaid for a pony day today will be automatically carried over to the Easter holiday pony days and we will let you know the dates available asap.
Thank you for all your support.
We will be back open as normal for lessons tomorrow.
Thank you xx
Hi, anyone booked in to do the pony day tomorrow Friday 18/02/22, due to reports of very strong winds we have decided to wait until 8am tomorrow morning to decide if we will continue with the day or postpone it to the Easter holidays. Either way a post will go up on our website and Facebook pages before 8.15am.
Thank you for your support.
UPDATE 17/10/2021
Update for spectators.
Dear all , i would like to firstly thank you all for your cooperation with regards to waiting in your cars whilst your child is riding . Whilst i have seen a remarkable improvement in levels of concentration within all lessons i feel that it is only fair that i now give parents the option to spectate . I would ask you all to still enter and exit using the one way system as this works very well but i have created a large area away from the office but still in view of the school for you to watch your children if you so choose .
Please Park only in the allotted car park shown on the map and i ask you to continue to maintain a good social distance within the spectators standing area . As always please use the hand sanitisers on site and adhere to the information on the new signage . Many thanks Kim xxx
UPDATE 19/05/2021
Whilst restrictions are easing around the country, spectators can only be catered for if there is room to socially distance everyone. Unfortunately we can't comply with this government ruling and have decided that until all restrictions have been lifted we will continue with no spectating allowed. We understand you would love to watch your children ride, however we feel that the concentration levels have increased without parents watching, therefore without a doubt making it a safer environment to learn. We still expect all parents to wait in the car for the duration of the lesson. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. Thankyou, Kim xx
Update Sunday 21st March 2021 Dear all, We are hoping to reopen the riding school on Tuesday 30th March 2021, this will be subject to the prime minister's next bulletin and the permission from our licensing authority St Alban's District Council . We are therefore taking bookings for the Easter holiday activities and weekend lessons. As I know this will be a busy time taking all your bookings please could you send me a text message to book rather than calling as this will allow me to respond to you all as quickly as I can. Please send your texts during the hours of 9.30am until 7pm only. Please refresh your memories by reading our strict Covid code of conduct that can be found on our website www.kimsequestrian.co.uk, and If you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of Covid 19 then please do not attend. I would like to remind you that there is a non-cancellation policy for holiday activities and a 24hour cancellation policy for weekend lessons. We are very much looking forward to seeing you all again and with everyone's cooperation we can hopefully enjoy the sport we love in a safe environment. Kim XXX

COVID-19 UPDATE 2ND NOVEMBER 2020
Dear all,
It comes with great sadness that we will be closing from now until Saturday 5th December 2020 due to lockdown.
Whilst we are upset by this news, we fully support the need to keep people safe and support the NHS in saving lives.
Any monies for lessons that have been prepaid will be honored and lessons rescheduled to suit. Please just send me a text with your required date and time.
On your return please be assured that all current measures for health and safety will be in place as before along with our COVID-19 safe practice and one-way system.
Finally, on behalf of myself and everyone at Kim’s Equestrian we would like to wish you all good health, happiness and safety through this pandemic. We look forward to seeing you in a months’ time.

Dear all . I am so very sorry to all my loyal and lovely clients that I had to close at such short notice and prevent you from riding this weekend . As you can see I have posted an email sent to me from the British horse society changing their minds ! Whilst some riding schools may have re opened their doors I strongly believe that this will all change again in the next few days and I am not prepared to take any risks with my customers health and safety or build up the kids hopes of riding to then shatter them by shutting down again . Welfare of you all is of paramount importance to me and when it's all over it will be business as usual. Regarding Easter holiday bookings and pre payment we will re schedule activities to a later date and as I doubt schools will go back in the near future we can pretty much put in our events at any time as the country starts to operate as normal and parents go back to work . This will possibly be of benefit to a lot of you who won't have child care to allow you to return to work but would be possible if your children can come to me for their pony days etc.. I will keep you all updated with all the latest news on the website www.kimsequestrian.co.uk and until then I wish you all the very best . Stay safe , stay healthy , look after each other and there will be sunshine after the storm ! Love to you all Kim xxx
Please see below for the full BHS latest statement.
Kim has recieved a statement from her governing body The British Horse Society tonight that advises all riding schools and centres to stop lessons with immediate effect. In light of this guidance and to protect the health and safety of everyone who is involved with the riding school Kim has sadly made the decision to close the riding school until further notice. Kim wants to apologise for the late notice of the closure but she has only been advised this tonight. Kim and the adult helpers will of course continue to care for our horses whilst they have their little holiday and we hope we can reopen our doors very soon. Please could you share this to anyone who has a lesson booked so they are made aware. Thankyou very much for all your support, stay healthy, and we will update you as and when we can for when we can reopen. xxxx
*UPDATE 20 MARCH 2020*
Following the latest Government directive, Friday 20th March, in response to the continuing public health crisis around Coronavirus (Covid-19).
The BHS advises ALL BHS Approved Centres and riding schools to stop offering riding lessons and cancel clinics with immediate effect.
The Government advice is that the risk to public health is deemed too significant for group activities at riding schools and clinics to continue, despite the very best efforts to adhere to social distancing practices that the equine community has undertaken.
However, recreational riding for those who own, share or loan a horse is still deemed an appropriate form of exercise and is not affected by the latest Government advice.
Rest in peace your Majesty, a true legend until the very end xxx💖Rest in peace your Majesty, a true legend until the very end xxx💖This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
