Kim's Equestrian Riding Club
Riders are invited to join the Riding Club and must have passed their Bronze Award or be working towards it. This is a club set up to allow young people and adults to practice skills learnt and spend time with our horses. The day starts at 8.15am and finishes at approximately 4pm on Saturday and Sunday and throughout the school holidays. Riding club members are expected to be committed (even in the winter months) on a weekly basis and may be offered a pony to look after. The activities include:
- Catching in.
- Grooming.
- Tacking up.
- Leading.
- Cleaning tack.
- Feeding.
- Rugging up (Winter months).
- Turning out.
- Tidy up.
- Access to Riding club group.
- Riding club outings.
- Opportunity to hire horses to compete at local shows.
- Opportunity to part loan a horse/pony during the weekdays.
